FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What identification do I need to provide?

At the time of our meeting to sign the NOIM I need to confirm your date and place of birth. Easiest way of doing this is providing your Passport OR Birth Certificate and Photo ID. If applicable, evidence of the end of any previous marriage(s) eg. divorce or death certificate will also be required.

How much notice do I need to give before getting married?

It is imperative that the Notice of Intended Marriage is signed, witnessed and lodged with me (the celebrant) at least one month prior to wedding date (and no longer than 18 months prior). If required, a shortening of time can be requested from a Prescribed Authority.

Are you willing to travel for my wedding?

Yes! In all of my packages there is an 80km round trip travel cover included. If your venue exceeds this limit, a $1/km fee is applied. Interstate weddings incur a flat travel fee. For international weddings, travel and accommodation would be covered by the couple and the legal paperwork must be completed within Australia prior to the destination 'wedding'.

Anything else?

All I can say is... When you know, you know! My best advice is to choose based on likeness to yourselves - at the end of the day you want your celebrant to be able to accurately represent and reflect you! Contact me to book in a no obligation meet up to see if we vibe.
